Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager (AMC Business) is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) within the solar pumping solutions sector. This role involves creating strategies to increase AMC sales, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for AMCs in the solar pumping solutions market.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

AMC Management:
  • Develop and manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for customers.
  • Create AMC packages and pricing strategies.
  • Negotiate and finalize AMC agreements with clients.
  • Monitor and ensure the fulfillment of AMC terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate with service teams to ensure timely and effective maintenance services.

Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Conduct regular (Weekly/Monthly) client meetings and follow-ups to maintain long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate with accounts and service teams for timely submission of invoices and other relevant documents.

Sales and Marketing:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for AMC services.
  • Utilize various sales and marketing tools to generate leads and convert them into customers.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote AMC services and network with potential clients.

Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Analyze AMC performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and achieve business goals.

Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the service and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address client concerns and improve service quality.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in AMC management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Experience in solar products and the motor pump industry is an advantage.
