Job description
Role & responsibilities :
Capex & Indirect Material (IDM) Purchase resource for Central Indirect Purchase function, preferably with Automotive / engineering purchase background.
Timely processing of purchase requisitions in line with Sourcing council guidelines and defined strategies
Managing multiple category/ cross category requirements
Prepare should cost / cost estimates, build new costing template as required
Catalogue management, finalization of discount structure, preparation of ARC for standard items, directly from OEMs , participate group level initiatives for aggregation
Explore cost optimization opportunities e.g. scope optimization, alternative source suggestion, VA/VE etc.
Adherence of vendor evaluation & rationalization process, managing stakeholder in process
Monitoring vendor payment & retentions periodically, closure of open issues with stakeholder
Participate & execute Productivity and Process Improvement projects within defined timelines
Adhere to TCOC guidelines and established audit processes
Strategic Sourcing, Co-ordinate and consolidate for multiple site indirect purchase.
Cost optimization for Capex , R&D and Indirect procurements and Services.
Analyse and identify cost saving avenues in indirect spend.
Knowledge of negotiation and contracts developments for multiple locations.
Keep track of spending as per annual budget and ensure requisite goods/ service are procured.
Maintain MIS of various measures efficiency and productivity in operations.
Strong analytical skills & good knowledge of spreadsheet and presentations.

Qualifications : -
Education - BE, MBA - ( Operations / Material management)
Industrial Exp- 6 to 10 years
Industry Background - Manufacturing , Automotive , Consumer, Solar, FMCG
