We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Head to lead our non-government initiatives, with a primary focus on rural areas of India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership and the ability to drive growth in rural commercial and private sector markets. This role will be crucial in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets independently of government-driven programs

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for rural non-government markets, focusing on commercial and private sector opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability, with a special emphasis on rural engagement.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape in rural areas.
  • Business Development: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including rural businesses, agricultural enterprises, and local industry partners.
  • Sales Execution: Drive the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and revenue growth in rural markets.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with rural customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Product Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional materials tailored to rural markets, and participate in rural industry events and trade shows to showcase Ecozen’s products.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on sales performance, market feedback, and customer insights in rural areas, using data to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales processes
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years of sales experience in the rural markets, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth, particularly in rural areas.
