Job Description:


As a Video Editor at Ecozen, you will collaborate closely with the Content Marketing Manager and other stakeholders to produce video content aligned with our storytelling and brand narrative goals. Leveraging your video editing skills, creativity, and knowledge of AI video creation tools, you will play a key role in generating high-quality, engaging video content that drives audience engagement and enhances brand visibility.


Responsibilities:


Video Editing:

  • Edit long-format video content, such as interviews, documentaries, product demonstrations, and event coverage, to tell compelling stories that align with brand messaging and objectives.
  • Utilize video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to edit footage, add effects, transitions, graphics, and music, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions from the Content Marketing Manager and other team members to enhance video content quality and effectiveness.

Short-Format Social Media Video Production:

  • Create engaging short-format video content optimized for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Adapt long-format content into shorter, snackable videos that capture attention, drive engagement, and promote brand awareness.
  • Utilize AI video creation tools to streamline video production processes and enhance creativity in content creation.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with field teams, content creators, and other sources to source raw footage, audio, and visual assets for video projects.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and timelines, ensuring alignment with brand storytelling objectives.
  • Provide creative input and recommendations to enhance video content quality, storytelling, and engagement.

Performance Tracking and Optimization:

  • Monitor video performance metrics and engagement analytics across various platforms to measure the effectiveness of video content.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and adjust video content strategies accordingly.
  • Experiment with different video formats, styles, and storytelling techniques to optimize audience engagement and retention.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in video editing, with proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video editing projects, including long-format videos, short-format social media content, and other video formats.
  • Expertise in using and recommending AI video creation tools to streamline video production processes and enhance creativity.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for video content optimization and engagement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for storytelling and visual storytelling techniques.
  • Freshers or freelancers with a portfolio of video content created with engagement metrics for personal social media are also welcome to apply.
